About Healia Communities
Healia Communities, the online health community that helps you make better health decisions by enabling you to:

• Share your health knowledge, experiences, and favorite resources
• Connect with people like yourself who’ve experienced your situation
• Ask questions of the community, your peers, and health professionals

At Healia, we recognize that making health decisions is often difficult. There’s a sea of information out there, may be you’re not sure what is relevant to you, or perhaps you’re looking for deeper insight into a particular health concern. When it comes to your health, we know that information by itself often isn’t enough–you want to understand how information relates to you and your family.

When we launched the Healia health search engine, we focused on providing the highest quality results for your query, and offered a number of tools that help you tailor the information to your situation. Now we’ve taken that approach one step further with the launch of Healia Communities, a site specifically engineered to support health communities.

We know that connecting with people who have similar experiences can help you arrive at a more informed health decision. We also know that some questions are best answered by health experts and we’ve gathered experienced health professionals to help you.

We hope you will find what you’re looking for, connect with others who can help, and get answers to your questions. As you receive help from fellow community members, please return the favor and help others by writing a journal, sharing your experiences, and answering questions.

Healia Communities is currently being released as a beta application. This means that it is a work in progress and that some things may not be working perfectly. So we’d like to hear from you.
